The first satellite who escaped the solar system'

  •   First satellite to escape the solar system is the Voyager 1 spacecraft. Launched by NASA on September 5, 1977, Voyager 1 was designed to explore the outer planets of our solar system. It completed flybys of Jupiter and Saturn, gathering valuable data and sending back stunning images of these distant worlds.
  • After its mission to study the outer planets was completed, Voyager 1 continued on its trajectory, moving away from the Sun and venturing into interstellar space. On August 25, 2012, it officially became the first human-made object to cross the heliopause—the boundary where the influence of the Sun's solar wind gives way to the interstellar medium.
  • Voyager 1 is still operational and continues to send back scientific data as it continues its journey beyond our solar system. It carries a golden record known as the "Voyager Golden Record," which contains sounds and images representing Earth and human civilization, in the hopes that it may someday be discovered by extraterrestrial beings.
